Marathon Airlines is a Greek airline specializing in ACMI and charter operations. From airline flying programs to dedicated charter assignments, we bring aircraft, crews, and operational support together around each customer's requirements. Headquartered in Athens, we operate internationally under Greek Air Operator Certificate GR-062, in accordance with EASA requirements.

International experience.

Established in Greece in 2017, Marathon Airlines obtained its Air Operator Certificate in December 2020. We began in executive charter, completing more than 1,100 flight hours worldwide with a single aircraft in 2021, before expanding into commercial passenger operations.

Since scaling up our commercial operations in 2023, we have operated more than 16,000 flights and carried close to one million passengers across four continents. Our development has been shaped by ACMI partnerships and charter assignments supporting customers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.

In July 2026, Marathon Airlines joined the IATA Operational Safety Audit Registry, followed by IATA membership in August. Alongside our membership in the European Regions Airline Association, these milestones mark the next chapter in our international development.
